8.208

前中，云謂由定地作意通世定慧二法，無間慇重二修定自性。泰云：定地作意是修自性，由二修故證彼自性，又可會彼所證境。

In the former part, it states that by means of attention in the meditative stage, it pervades the two dharmas of worldly concentration and wisdom, and the uninterrupted and reverent two cultivations determine its intrinsic nature. Tai says: "Attention in the meditative stage is the intrinsic nature of cultivation; by means of the two cultivations, one realizes that intrinsic nature, and furthermore can harmonize with the object realized by it."
