（基云：）種性有三種人，或一人具三，一人具三中隨增性說故有三種，或一人約三義故說三種。

(Ji says:) Regarding the gotra, there are three kinds of persons; or one person possesses all three, and among one person possessing all three, they are spoken of as three according to whichever nature is predominant; or for one person, three kinds are spoken of in terms of three meanings.
