解云：定有難者，不須解釋，必須通者亦有道理，以種姓故，無滿是種子即是正因，故望佛果，發心初起經一僧祇是其有漏，入地已去設是無漏，以非種子故不望佛果，近望加行有相生義以辨持也。

Explanation: If there is a fixed objection, no explanation is needed; yet if it must be reconciled, there is also principle: because of gotra, unimpeded seeds are the primary cause, and therefore look toward the Buddha-fruition; the initial arising of the aspiration passes through one asaṃkhyeya [kalpa] and is tainted, and even if it is taintless from entering the bhūmi onward, because it is not a seed, it does not look toward the Buddha-fruition, but immediately looks toward preparatory praxis with the sense of mutual generation to distinguish 'support'.
