護月論師云：二姓相望同體故無四緣，性種性望初地正體智有二緣，望後得有三緣，可知。

Master Candramati said: The two gotras share the same substance, and therefore in relation to one another there are none of the four conditions. The natural gotra with respect to the fundamental wisdom of the first stage has two conditions; with respect to the subsequently attained wisdom it has three conditions, as can be known.
