言如是等事，皆由種姓佛大悲因之所熏發者，由彼身中有當作佛大悲種子熏發之力，雖生惡道與餘差別。泰云：無始已來有菩薩種者由造惡業故生惡道，與餘二乘決定性人及無性者有大差別，差別雖多。

Regarding the statement that 'such matters are all perfumed and initiated by the cause of great compassion of the buddhahood gotra': because there is within their person the power of perfuming and initiating by the seed of great compassion that will realize buddhahood, although born in the evil destinies, they are distinct from others. Tai says: Those with the bodhisattva gotra from beginningless time, though born in the evil destinies due to creating evil karma, have a great difference from those of determinate gotra in the other two vehicles and those without gotra; although the differences are many,
