Regarding 'if bodhisattvas rely collectively or individually on the four conditions, four causes, and so forth, up to and are also not unshakeable': Master Ji explains: The intention clarified here is that, among the preceding four causes and four conditions, if one generates the mind by relying individually on one cause or one condition, or collectively on the four causes and conditions, among the four powers, one relies only on two powers, namely one's own power and the power of the cause. Among these two powers, if one generates the mind by relying individually on one power or collectively on these two powers, these are all firm and unshakeable. If, by contrast, one generates the mind by relying on another's power and application, or collectively on these two powers, this is not firm and is also not unshakeable.
