第一雙中，第二、攝眷屬過所不能染過，有二種謂於眷屬饒益損減、染污違順等者，基云：謂於違起損減染污，於順起增益染污，故名二事。今解，以染污心順於饒益己者，違於損減己者也。

In the first pair, regarding the second—the faults of taking in retinue being unable to defile one, where there are two kinds, namely, benefiting and diminishing, defilement and accord/discord toward retinue—[Kuai]ji says: 'This means that toward discord one gives rise to the defilement of diminishing, and toward accord one gives rise to the defilement of increasing; thus they are called two matters.' Now it is explained: With a defiled mind, one accords with those who benefit oneself and opposes those who diminish oneself.
