十門之中，遠法師攝為五對：初二一對所利差別；次二一對利體不同；次二一對明利時節，因利現在果利未來；次二一對此世他世交賒有異；末後一對真妄別也。

Among the ten gates, Master [Hui]yuan subsumes them into five pairs: the first two are a pair concerning differences in those benefited; the next two are a pair concerning differences in the essence of the benefit; the next two are a pair explaining the time of benefit—the cause benefits the present, the fruit benefits the future; the next two are a pair concerning the difference between immediate and deferred in this world and other worlds; the final pair is the distinction between true and false.
