遠師云：順樂之業攝彼決定應與者故說之決定饒益，即有眾生起順苦業菩薩不授，若起順樂業決定應與，故彼受樂中無漏受者攝決定應利益者不能盡故，不得偏說，所化無量故，如四禪決定應與者之，無漏受不然。

Master Yuan says: Karma that accords with pleasure subsumes those who definitely ought to be given [it], and therefore it is spoken of as a definite benefit; thus, if there are sentient beings who generate karma that accords with suffering, the bodhisattva does not bestow it, but if they generate karma that accords with pleasure, it definitely ought to be given. Therefore, within that pleasure of feeling, taintless feeling cannot completely subsume all those who definitely ought to be benefited, so it cannot be spoken of one-sidedly; because those to be converted are immeasurable, just as the four dhyānas are definitely given to those [fit for them], taintless feeling is not like this.
