上來立正宗。自下第二破邪執。基云：此下重破外計也。於中有二：初破小乘執有遍計隨言說法；二、有二種人下，破初學大乘惡取空謗無一切離言說法。

The above established the correct tenet. From here below is the second section: refuting mistaken attachments. Ji says: Below this, it refutes external positions once more. In this there are two parts: first, refuting the Hīnayāna attachment to the existence of parikalpita phenomena that accord with speech; second, from "There are two kinds of persons" below, refuting beginners in the Mahāyāna who ill-advisedly grasp at emptiness and slanderously deny all phenomena beyond speech.
