9.163

謂若於彼色等諸法實有唯事起損減執等者，景云：凡是遍計所執倒情搆畫虛假之法，必迷真實，託真為有若無，撥所迷真實，能迷虛假亦不得有無二種，皆不應理。

Regarding "If with respect to those phenomena such as matter, which are truly existent mere things, one gives rise to a deprecating attachment": Jing says: Whenever there are false phenomena fabricated by the inverted sentiments of parikalpita, they necessarily err regarding the real. Relying on the real, they are held to exist. If the real that is the object of error is repudiated as non-existent, the false that is capable of error also cannot exist. Both kinds of denial are unreasonable.
