9.19

言惠施光明鮮淨衣物，名形色因者，言形生非形顯之形，若顯之形即有光明顯色因感形色果義，故知形者但是身之形，以通顯色為因故，又同一果聚故，即以顯色為因感形色者何違也，故形或是形顯之形。

Regarding “giving light and fresh, clean clothing is the cause of shape and color”: it is said that shape-birth is not the shape of visible color. If it were visible color, then bright color would serve as the cause inducing the fruit of shape and color; therefore we know that shape is merely the shape of the body, because visible color generally acts as its cause, and because they belong to the same fruit cluster; so how could there be any contradiction in taking visible color as the cause inducing shape and color? Hence shape is either shape or visible color.
