言謂於如前所說色等想事者，依他性色相者名色也，事者是體，以色名所由體，舊論云事分齊，所說色等假說性法都無所有者，是遍計所執色等無有實性，舊論云假名分齊。

As for "Regarding all things that are objects of conception such as form, as previously explained": "form" of the paratantra nature; "characteristic" is the name of form; "thing" is its essence, serving as the essence from which the name "form" arises (the old translation says "the boundary of things"). "The nature of phenomena nominally designated as form and so forth, as explained, is entirely non-existent": this refers to the parikalpita form and so forth having no real nature (the old translation says "the boundary of provisional names").
