論主釋中，云謂於色等想法乃至說為涅槃者，泰云：此文釋上兩句，於色等想所緣法建立色等分別性法名，即以如是色等分別性法名詮表說色等想所緣法，或說為色乃至說為涅槃也。又釋：想者是名，謂於色等名所目法上建立色等法假名，即以如是色等法假名詮表說色等名所目法也。

In the Treatise Master's explanation, as for the passage "Regarding the phenomena that are objects of conception such as form... up to... spoken of as nirvāṇa": Tai says: This text explains the upper two lines. In relation to the phenomena that are the cognitive objects of conceptions such as form, one establishes the names of conceptually differentiated phenomena such as form; then, using such names of conceptually differentiated phenomena such as form, one expresses and speaks of the phenomena that are the cognitive objects of conceptions such as form, or speaks of them as form, up to speaking of them as nirvāṇa. Another explanation: "conception" refers to names, meaning that in relation to the phenomena designated by names such as form, one establishes provisional names of phenomena such as form, and then using such provisional names of phenomena such as form, one expresses and speaks of the phenomena designated by names such as form.
