9.21

由二因緣，施他人性者，謂他婦樂自形，丈夫將轉根失壞男根，菩薩勸於女人身，攝護轉根者令不轉根，又為說法，令不轉根，彼丈夫因菩薩勸故不樂女身當得男身，轉根者因菩薩勸故得不轉根名施他人性。

Regarding “bestowing human nature on others through two causes and conditions”: this means another's wife takes delight in her own form, or a man is about to transform faculties and lose his male faculty; the bodhisattva advises regarding the female body and protects the one transforming faculties so that they do not transform faculties, and furthermore speaks the Dharma for them so that they do not transform faculties; that man, due to the bodhisattva's advice, does not take delight in a female body and will obtain a male body; the one transforming faculties, due to the bodhisattva's advice, does not transform faculties. This is named bestowing human nature on others.
