The prose commentary states: As for the passage from "Regarding things that are worldly objects of conception such as form... up to... the Muni does not cling": Tai says: Regarding all worldly, conventional conceptually differentiated natures, the Muni, the World-Honoured One, does not cling to any of them. Since he does not cling, who could grasp at conceptually differentiated phenomena? Because there is no clinging, what is seen and heard does not give rise to craving. This means that regarding the things of conceptually differentiated nature that are the referents of worldly provisional names such as form, the conceptually differentiated natures that are the referents of various provisional expressions such as form are called "conventionalities". Just as those provisional expressions do not, on account of objects of conception here, possess their conceptually constructed differentiated intrinsic nature, so toward such conventionalities the Muni, the World-Honoured One, does not grasp or cling; this explains the upper two lines.
