測云：此尋伺觀唯見依他似名，唯言簡異外人見實名言，故言唯見名，故攝大乘論云：此中名者謂色受等，亦攝名因名果句等，尋思此名唯意言性唯似非實，不離意言，名名尋思。

Ce says: This contemplation of investigation and reflection sees only the semblance-names of the paratantra; the word 'only' excludes outsiders seeing real names and words; therefore it is said 'seeing only names'. Thus the Mahāyānasaṃgraha says: 'Here, names refer to form, feeling, and so forth, and also subsume the causes of names, the effects of names, phrases, and so on. Investigating these names as being only of the nature of mental speech, only semblance and not real, not separate from mental speech, is called the investigation of names.'
