9.3

自下第三解因攝果攝利益時節，即是自他修三因因時利益利名為因攝，三因得果果時利益名為果攝，即於因果中皆有自利益他行故。於中，先徵問發起開列三門；次依門解釋；後結。

Below, the third [part] explains the occasions of benefit subsumed by cause and subsumed by fruit: that is, when self and others cultivate the three causes, the benefit at the time of the cause is termed “subsumed by cause”; when the three causes attain the fruit, the benefit at the time of the fruit is termed “subsumed by fruit”; thus within both cause and fruit there are practices of benefiting oneself and benefiting others. In this, first it raises an inquiry to introduce and lay out three sections; next, it explains according to the sections; finally, it concludes.
