Jointly explaining the seventh and eighth transformations, it says: "Being able to roll up all kings of snow mountains and the like so as to be like a single subtle atom, or causing them to be like all kings of snow mountains and the like, is called rolling up and expanding." Ce says: This corresponds to the Vimalakīrtinirdeśa-sūtra's containment of Mount Sumeru within a single mustard seed. In the Western Countries (India) there are two explanations. One says: It is explained in terms of consciousness-only, the same as Jing's earlier explanation. The second says: In terms of the principle of causes and conditions, all conditioned dharmas are beyond verbal designation and do not have definite large or small sizes; viewed in relation to one another, they are neither one nor different. Due to this principle, they mutually accommodate one another, also without any hindrance.
