般若中，通以四攝事行，施中言能作布施攝事成就有情中，四度中以同事成就有情，即六度攝四攝也。何故布施中不言勸有情行施，已同之名為同事，亦名利行等。基云：今且約隨增故記唯有此，非約定實義，其實義者何妨一一中得有利行等。

In wisdom, it is practiced universally with the four means of gathering: under giving it says being able to perform the gathering of giving to mature sentient beings; among the four perfections, it matures sentient beings through sharing in tasks; this is the six perfections subsuming the four means of gathering. Why is it that under giving it does not speak of encouraging sentient beings to practice giving, and having conformed to them, calling it sharing tasks, or calling it beneficial action, and so on? Ji says: For now, it is recorded that there is only this based on what is predominant, not based on the definitive, real meaning; as for its real meaning, what obstacle is there to each and every one having beneficial action and the rest?
