答曰：總列聲聞根劣云如一千，於中，別修功力大者，能知三千。龍猛亦云：大阿羅漢亦能知三千。
Answer: Stating generally that the faculties of śrāvakas are inferior, it says "like one thousand"; among them, those who specifically cultivate great efficacy are able to know three thousand. Nāgārjuna also states that great arhats are also able to know three thousand.
