初釋諸根成就，此據種姓所依人天之身能生眾行名身為根，亦可所依身中偏舉內六入根，故云諸根壽量具足等。八異熟，如前自他利品廣說。

First, explaining the maturity of faculties: this is based on the bodies of humans and gods upon which the gotra relies, being able to generate all practices, calling the body "faculties"; or alternatively, among the bodies that serve as the basis, it specifically singles out the six internal sense bases as faculties, hence it speaks of "faculties, lifespan being complete, and so forth". The eight maturations are as broadly explained in the previous Chapter on Self-Benefit and Benefiting Others.
