Regarding 'what is not subsumed by the realms [...] up to the taintless realm', Master Jing explains: this refers to the path of preparation, the path of equipment, seeing, cultivation, and culmination; such paths can lead to nirvāṇa and are subsumed under the truth of the path, and are thus called preparation. 'Satkāyadṛṣṭi' is called the false body, namely the defiled five aggregates, which are counteracted and severed, which is their analytical cessation and the cessation that is the principle of tathatā. The phrase 'the realm without proliferation' means that taintless seeds are not like the seeds of nominal proliferation, and are therefore called without proliferation. Master Ji further explains: the taintless realm without proliferation refers to the nature of tathatā being free from conceptual construction, because it is the substance of the taintless.
