Tai says: because seeing spiritual transformations produces veneration, one focuses the mind and lends an ear to listen to the Dharma, and contemplation generates reverence. Through the wheel of reading others' minds, one investigates the different behaviors of others' minds, such as lust. Through the wheel of the exhaustion of outflows, one preaches the correct Dharma according to the faculties of the three vehicles, according to the means of the three vehicles, and according to the entry into the noble truths of the three vehicles; or alternatively, according to the faculties, behaviors, and entry into the truths of the three grades, one utilizes these three wheels to subsume and transform others' practices, omitting nothing, which is therefore called the perfection of subsuming characteristics.
