作業有六：初四、後二。初四中：一、自他境，因果位別故。二、自共相，處自相故非餘二。三、去來今，唯因非果，現在故。四、間相續，有二說：一云一切位定爾、一云不據等流心。後二者：一、隨他起，自力微故；二、得異熟，牽果勢勝故。

Action (karman) has six [aspects]: the first four and the last two. Among the first four: first, one's own and others' objects, because the causal and fruitional states differ; second, own-marks and common marks, because it is the own-mark of the sphere and not the other two; third, past, future, and present, which is only cause and not fruit, because it is present; fourth, interrupted and continuous, for which there are two accounts: one says it is definitively so in all states, the other says it is not based on the mind of continuous outflow (niṣyanda). As for the last two: first, arising in accordance with another, because its own strength is weak; second, obtaining maturation, because its power to draw forth the fruit is superior.
