1.65

離欲退有五緣：一、鈍根；二、新學者思欲境，即是因力、境力；三、受順退法，即逢五退具緣；四、煩惱重；五、習惡友。

Falling away from relinquishing desire has five conditions: first, dull faculties; second, a beginner contemplating objects of desire, which are the power of causes and the power of objects; third, adopting phenomena conforming to regression, which means encountering the five conditions conducive to falling away; fourth, heavy afflictions; fifth, associating with bad friends.
