10.48

論解大勢具足因中意者，以供養三寶、尊長等，發弘誓願，願中當來世攝持種種功德致於自身中。由此供養、發願等為因，當來感大勢具足，是此中意也。

The intended meaning where the treatise explains the cause of possessing great power is: by making offerings to the Three Jewels, venerable elders, and so forth, one makes great vows, vowing that in future lifetimes one will gather various merits and bring them to fruition within one's own person. With such offerings, vows, and so forth as the cause, in the future one brings about the possession of great power; this is the intention here.
