10.87

論云「若唯有假，無有實事，既無依處，假亦無有，是則名為壞諸法」者，云若唯言有假說等假依他而無圓成者，圓成是假說依他依處，既無依處，何處得有假說依他？又假說者謂所起計是有，而依他、圓成實事是無，起遍計時名依二性，而無所依二性而有能依遍計者，而名壞諸法。

The treatise says, "If there is only the nominal and no real entity, then since there is no locus of reliance, the nominal also does not exist; this is called the destruction of all phenomena." It means that if one says there are only nominal designations and other nominal paratantra without the pariniṣpanna, pariniṣpanna is the locus of reliance for the nominally designated paratantra; since there is no locus of reliance, where could there be the nominally designated paratantra? Furthermore, "nominal designation" means that the conceptualization that has arisen is taken to be existent, while the real entities of paratantra and pariniṣpanna are taken to be non-existent; when giving rise to parikalpita, it is called relying on the two natures, yet if without the two natures that are relied upon there could be the parikalpita that relies on them, this is called the destruction of all phenomena.
