六度勝德中，「是大白法溟」者，一切白法中最為大故。名大白法海，一切白法皆攝入中，不離此六故。　「大寶泉池」，涌生功德無窮盡故。

Among the supreme virtues of the six perfections, 'being the ocean of great pure phenomena' means that it is the greatest among all pure phenomena. It is called the ocean of great pure phenomena because all pure phenomena are subsumed within it, not being apart from these six. / 'The spring-pool of great jewels' means that the virtues it springs forth are inexhaustible.
