論云「於如是分」者，法師云：分云處所，今此會處。今說不然，即前半後半、白月黑月為分也。故曰後說分，分後說月。

Regarding the treatise's statement, "in such a division (pakṣa)": the Dharma master says: *Division* means a place, the present assembly place. The present exposition says this is not so; rather, the first half and second half [of a month], the bright fortnight (śuklapakṣa) and the dark fortnight (kṛṣṇapakṣa), are the divisions. Therefore, it later speaks of a division, and after a division, it speaks of a month.
