論云「色、香、味、觸當知亦然」者，故知通變五塵為其實用，下至〈決擇〉別當自解。
The treatise states: 'One should know that form, fragrance, taste, and touch are also likewise.' Hence we know that supernormally transforming the five dusts constitutes their actual function; this will be separately explained below up to the *Viniścaya*.
