論解八法攝大乘，在此十三住攝中云謂於第一、第二住中，於菩薩藏生信勝解，聽受思惟者，此二住中，任攝初五法。於此五中，於菩薩藏之一句攝初三法，生信勝解，聽受第四，思惟第五。第四聞慧，第五思慧。論實以後諸地非無此五，據謂上用增時分齊語。

Regarding the treatise's explanation of the eight dharmas subsuming the Mahāyāna, where it states in this subsumption within the thirteen stages that in the first and second stages, one generates faith and resolute faith in the Bodhisattva-piṭaka, listens, receives, and reflects: In these two stages, they freely subsume the first five dharmas. Among these five, the single phrase "in the Bodhisattva-piṭaka" subsumes the first three dharmas; generating faith and resolute faith, and listening and receiving, is the fourth; reflecting is the fifth. The fourth is wisdom from listening (śrutamayī prajñā); the fifth is wisdom from reflection (cintāmayī prajñā). In fact, the subsequent bhūmis are not devoid of these five; this is stated according to the limit when their function is superior and increasing.
