既受勝生自利圓已，次有益物，故名〈受攝品〉。論解云「菩薩如是於諸有情攝受無倒轉時，當知遭遇略有十二種艱難事中」，下有能治此十二之善巧方便，初云十一句次第各對一所治，第十一句釋上第十一、十二艱難之事。

Once sovereign birth has been received and benefit for oneself is perfected, next there is benefiting other beings; hence it is titled the "Chapter on Embracing [Sentient Beings]." The treatise explains: "When the bodhisattva thus engages without error in embracing sentient beings, it should be known that he encounters roughly twelve kinds of difficult situations." Below, there are skillful means capable of countering these twelve: initially, it says that eleven phrases correspond in sequence to each of the things to be countered, and the eleventh phrase explains the eleventh and twelfth difficult situations above.
