12.19

論解釋詞中，但有訓釋諸法言詞，如《雜集》亦云謂於諸方言音，謂無量國邑眾生自想言詞。釋諸方言詞，謂可破壞名世間等。以一音演說，眾生隨類各得解等，名種種言音也。

In the treatise's explanation of etymology, it merely has the explanation and exegesis of the words of all dharmas. As the Samuccaya also says, it refers to the regional dialects and sounds, meaning the conceptual speech of sentient beings of immeasurable kingdoms and towns. Explaining the speech of various regions means that being destructible is named "world," and so on. Proclaiming with a single voice so that sentient beings each attain understanding according to their kind, and so forth, is called diverse speeches and sounds.
