The treatise states: "It should be known that the remaining perfections are subsumed within these": as in the *Saṃdhinirmocana-sūtra*, the distinct practices are subsumed under one another: the perfection of skillful means is the companion of the first three; the perfection of vows is the companion of vigor; the perfection of power is the companion of concentration; the perfection of knowledge is the companion of wisdom. If based on the *Daśabhūmika-sūtra*, the latter four perfections serve as companions to all the former six; namely, within the former six, skillfully embracing beings is named the perfection of skillful means, being able to advance higher is named the perfection of vows, being unshakeable by the armies of Māra is named the perfection of power, and knowing distinct differences is said to be the perfection of knowledge. Thus they are subsumed in the former six, with no need for separate discussion. In actuality, it is as in the *Daśabhūmika-sūtra* and the *Saṃdhinirmocana-sūtra*; in terms of doctrinal meaning, it is discussed according to predominance.
