此品第三學持之第十五品也，能如是學中之第九品也。性菩提分唯三十七，但能證菩提，名菩提分。此中十五門皆是。此中廣明，名菩提分品。　問曰：何以〈供養品〉後明耶？前〈供養品〉攝修方便，修成今道之行差別，名菩提分，故次明之。

This chapter is the fifteenth chapter within the third section on training, and the ninth chapter within being able to train in this way. As for their intrinsic nature, the factors of bodhi are only thirty-seven; whatever can realize bodhi is called a factor of bodhi. The fifteen categories here are all such. Being explained extensively here, it is called the Chapter on the Factors of Bodhi. Question: Why is it explained after the Chapter on Offerings? The preceding Chapter on Offerings subsumes the skillful means of cultivation; the distinct practices that accomplish the present path through cultivation are called the factors of bodhi, and therefore it is explained next.
