12.41

論「諸類此中，而不決定」者，由有謬錯。　「亦不堅住」者，由有退故。　「亦不廣大」者，持有分齊故，非如無邊。

The śāstra states: "Things of this kind are not determinate" because they involve error and mistake. "Nor are they firmly abiding" because there is regression. "Nor are they vast" because their retention has limits, unlike what is boundless.
