12.97

論解十種淨修住法中，「八者、即於如是正加行中，依應時分量等正行，而修慚愧」等者，時，謂如五濁劫末時，謂隨此時可行此法。分量，謂隨若干等法。又以上初地有八，謂善決定故，四相發心故等，結上文。

In the treatise's explanation of the ten kinds of dharmas for purifying the abode, regarding 'Eighth: in such correct application, according with appropriate time, measure, and other correct practices, cultivating shame and conscience', and so forth: 'time' refers to times such as the end of an aeon with the five turbidities, meaning this practice can be performed according to such a time. 'Measure' refers to according with such quantities of dharmas. Furthermore, as the first bhūmi above has eight items—namely, due to excellent determination, due to the four aspects of mind-arousal, and so forth—this concludes the text above.
