13.40

論云「所餘世間所有善根因此生故，轉更明盛」，明由決擇分等故，令福分善現行，轉更明了。以數習加行善故，了達因果故明也。若護月等，亦令加行有漏善及福分等者明了。

The treatise says: "Because all other worldly wholesome roots arise through this, they become increasingly clear and flourishing": this clarifies that due to the aids to penetration and so forth, active wholesomeness conducive to merit is made to become increasingly clear. Because of repeatedly practicing the wholesomeness of preparatory application, and because of thoroughly penetrating causes and effects, it is clear. According to Candragomin and others, it also makes the impure wholesomeness of preparatory application, wholesomeness conducive to merit, and so forth become clear.
