13.56

論云「生無想天，後心生時」者，若有，釋此在彼生處終者；無心者，此在彼受報已下生時，決定有心。此等論文下云「皆依未立阿賴耶聖教」等者，此隨順理門，經部師義。

Regarding the treatise's statement, 'When born into the realm of non-conception, and subsequent mind arises': if [mind] exists, this is explained as those dying in that rebirth-state; if it is mindless, when the fruition has been undergone there and one is born downwards, mind is definitively present. Concerning these treatises' subsequent statement that 'all are based on the sacred teaching before the establishment of the ālayavijñāna,' and so on, this follows the door of reasoned compliance and represents the tenet of the Sautrāntikas.
