論云「具足攝持一切義,具足攝持一切行義,故名蘊」,釋云:欲明數數攝義,故有重言。又解:初言者是體,後言是能詮,由體如此故,所以立如此名。以下准知。
The treatise says: 'Completely grasping and sustaining all objects, and completely grasping and sustaining all conditioned phenomena, it is therefore called an aggregate (skandha).' The commentary explains: To elucidate the repeated gathering of meanings, the word is repeated. Another explanation: The first phrase is the entity, and the second phrase is what expresses it; because the entity is such, such a name is established. The rest should be understood accordingly.
