「馬勝」者，即舊《俱舍》云阿輸實。應言：阿濕縛（此云馬）伐多（此云勝），與梵王論義比丘也。
"Ma-sheng" (Aśvajit) is what the old *Abhidharmakośa* calls Ashushi. It should be: A-shi-fa (meaning horse) fa-duo (meaning victory), the monk who debated with Brahmā.
