16.60

「升攝波」者，樹名也，即舊申式林者，訛也。即佛告阿難林中葉大小處也。是此胡樹，佛在樹下座，若阿難，非在林中。

'Śiṃśapā' is the name of a tree; the old translation 'Shenshi Grove' is an error. This is the place where the Buddha spoke to Ānanda about the size and quantity of leaves in the forest. It refers to this foreign tree; the Buddha sat beneath the tree with Ānanda, not in the forest.
