「除匱乏」者，施為除他資具闕乏，非為施彼，隨他富饒。　「結橋梁」者，出生死河因。　「不現行者」，隱行持戒，不現其相。　「欲解淨」者，意樂淨也。　「引攝淨」者，起神通。　「勝解定淨」者，修四無量等淨。　「智淨」者，生淨智。

"Dispelling scarcity" means giving in order to remove another's lack of necessities, not giving to them simply to follow another's wealth. "Forming a bridge" means the cause for departing the river of saṃsāra. "Non-manifesting" means maintaining the precepts through hidden practice without displaying their outward signs. "Purity of aspiration" means purity of intention. "Purity of attracting" means giving rise to supernatural powers. "Purity of samādhi through resolved faith" means the purity of cultivating the four immeasurables and so forth. "Purity of wisdom" means giving rise to pure wisdom.
