"Towards that view, and what conforms to that view": because various adherences to rules and observances, relying on the aforementioned adherence to views, falsely grasp rules and prohibitions as superior and capable of purifying, it says "towards that view." "Towards" has the sense of "relying upon"; it does not mean grasping that view itself as adherence to rules and observances. Grasping the aggregates and so forth associated with the rules and prohibitions undertaken in conformity with that view as superior and capable of purifying, it says "what conforms to that view." Or, "towards that view" is the substance of the aforementioned view itself; "what conforms to that view" is what is associated with the view. "Towards" means "relying upon." Relying upon the view and what conforms to it, grasping the rules and prohibitions undertaken as superior and pure is called adherence to rules and observances. "As liberation, as deliverance": grasping the dharmas of the three realms respectively as adherence to rules and observances, and respectively as the causes of deliverance from the three realms.
