The bondages (khila) are also three, namely greed, anger, and delusion. Due to these three, five bondages arise, which agrees with the Abhidharmasamuccaya. Based on these five objects, the three such as greed arise and shackle the mind; therefore the Abhidharmasamuccaya calls them mental bondages (ceto-khila). The categories of afflictions explained above are all fully and extensively expounded in later passages of the Abhidharmasamuccaya, the Prakaraṇāryavācā, and the Yogācārabhūmi; fearing text prolixity, they are merely presented in brief, and one should check and consult them according to what was cited before.
