第五、三釋名十二相。未來中，可生法相，謂不得非擇滅法；不可生法相，謂得非擇滅法；生法，應可求；不生法，不應求相。

Fifth, the three explanations of the twelve characteristics. In the future: the characteristic of phenomena that can arise refers to phenomena that have not attained apratisaṃkhyā-nirodha; the characteristic of phenomena that cannot arise refers to phenomena that have attained apratisaṃkhyā-nirodha; arising phenomena are those that should be sought; non-arising phenomena have the characteristic of not being sought.
