總結成中，「如是」者，牒前道理。「施設故」，結前第一因，世所施設，穀是禾因。如是下三故字，別配下三理，隨義應知。

In concluding the formulation, "in this way" refers back to the preceding rationales. "By designation" concludes the first cause above, as it is designated by the world that grain is the cause of paddy. In this way, the three occurrences of the word "because" below are individually matched to the three rationales below, which should be understood according to their meanings.
