Regarding the fourth objection, the Prakaraṇāryavācā has three: first, like a seed, determining that substantial origination should be impermanent; second, if like milk, then the substantial origination of atoms should undergo transformation; third, like a potter, distinct substances produce atoms. "Laborious effort" is precisely this deliberate thought. The Cheng weishi lun has two objections: first, objecting to atoms; second, objecting to coarse forms. For atoms there are three objections: first, reality; second, permanence; third, ability to produce coarse forms. For ability to produce coarse forms there are two objections: first, not exceeding the measure of the cause; second, being real existents. All are detailed as there.
