第四差別中，上解七引因支，下解五能生、所生支。愛支，體唯煩惱中貪。此雖通緣內外二果，諸論多取緣外境愛，因迷外境增上果愚，緣境界受所發生故。

In the fourth [section], "Distinctions," above were explained the seven projected-cause links, and below are explained the five productive and produced links. The link of craving has as its essence solely greed among the afflictions. Although this comprehensively takes both internal and external fruits as objects, the treatises mostly take craving directed toward external objects, because it arises on the basis of feeling conditioned by objects through delusion regarding the adhipati-phala of external objects.
